About John

John McKennie is a Forney native and has lived in the area for nearly a decade. He is an expert in both the real estate industry as well as the area market and loves helping clients achieve their dreams of homeownership. 

John is a master negotiator, with a strong acumen for finding the best way forward to accomplish getting his clients the best deal possible. His biggest strength lies in always fighting for his clients and having their back, whether it’s during the lending process, negotiations or making sure he gets top dollar on a client’s sale of their home.

He prides himself on his professionalism and level of commitment to his clients, whose interests always come before his own, says John. He truly loves helping people invest in their future. 

When John isn’t assisting his clients or showing houses, he is a Firefighter/Paramedic with the Grand Prairie Fire Department and previously the Addison Department, where he has served for a combined total of more than 10 years.    

In his free time, John also enjoys spending time with family and friends, coaching his daughter’s soccer team, traveling, and playing golf.
