About James

James Hooker Jr. is a dedicated REALTOR® who brings integrity, discipline, and a true heart for service to every client he represents. A retired United States Army Operations Non-Commissioned Officer, James spent years leading teams, managing complex programs, and ensuring accountability at the highest levels—experience that now directly benefits his real estate clients.

James entered real estate in March 2020 after personally experiencing the home buying and selling process multiple times during his military career. Through frequent relocations, he saw firsthand how overwhelming and confusing the process can be—especially when clients are not properly educated or guided. Determined to change that experience, James became a REALTOR® with a mission: to educate, empower, and advocate for his clients so they can make confident, informed decisions. This passion is especially strong when serving military families, first-time buyers, and clients navigating major life transitions.

Beyond real estate, James has an extensive background in organizational leadership, education services, and program management. Following his military retirement, he served as an Education Services Advisor for the Army Reserve and worked as a Contract Management Officer and Contracting Officer’s Representative. He is currently pursuing a master’s degree in project management, further strengthening his ability to manage transactions with precision, structure, and transparency.

He is known for delivering exceptional service rooted in honesty, full transparency, and unwavering commitment. Clients consistently praise his patience, communication, and willingness to go the extra mile—whether that means thoroughly explaining every step of the process, driving long distances to find the right home, or advocating tirelessly on their behalf.

Having lived throughout the Dallas–Fort Worth Metroplex for more than 13 years—including Fort Worth, Arlington, Aubrey, Duncanville, and Forney—James offers deep local knowledge and insight into the area’s communities, neighborhoods, and market trends.

Outside of work, James is deeply family-oriented and faith-driven. He participates in a weekday morning prayer line, hosts a men’s call on Tuesday evenings, and prioritizes time with his family—values that reflect the care, respect, and dedication he brings to every client relationship.
